Fire

“But if go to the east he is not there; If I go to the west I do not find Him. When he as work at the North I do not see him; When he turns to the South I catch no glimpse of Him. But he knows the way I take when he has tested me I will come forth as gold.”

Job 23:8-10

This was a word that Des about 3 weeks ago when sharing one sun morning. This ties in with some prophetic words that came earlier on in the year that some are going to go through a season of fire. Since that came there are several people going through real-times of testing. How do we posture our hearts during these seasons?

1 Peter 1:6-7  gives a glimpse “In all this you greatly rejoice though for a little while you may have to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith of greater worth than gold which perishes even though refined in fire may result in praise, glory, and honour when Jesus Christ is revealed”

And

1 Peter 4:12 “And do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on to test you as though some strange thing was happening to you but rejoice ……..”

God allows things in our lives in order to make us more like His son and to prove that our faith is real. God allows in his wisdom things in our lives that he could easily stop with His power. How we respond and react is the key. Most times we won't understand and he simply wants us to trust. God very rarely answers the why is this happening to me question. It's part of our growing up in Him. He wants our faith and trust to grow in Him. No one can escape these times. Make sure you have a right heart posture before Him.
