GALATIONS 2:20

Pray everyone came through the storm safe. What a start to 2023. A year of divine interruptions was the word someone had for this year.

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galations 2:20

I love this verse. Its just so powerful and can be revolutionary if it becomes a revelation to us by the Holy Spirit. Notice Paul uses past tense. It’s something that has happened in the past. The degree we believe this by faith will be the degree we live in the reality of it. As someone once said when temptation comes and the devil is sniffing around and knocking at your door just let Jesus answer the door. Don’t be drawn out from your position in Christ. I have been crucified with Christ. I’m still alive so who has actually been crucified. The old sinful man. The old sinful Adam, the old man dead in sin. Jesus didn’t just take all my sin in his body on the cross he also took my old sinful nature and now I have put on the new self being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. Jesus has taken up permanent residence in me, wanting to live His very life out through me. Oh, my imagine living every moment and facing every circumstance everyday with that reality. Christ the living resurrected Christ living in and through me looking to manifest his very power and presence through me. Our prayer should be Holy Spirit make this so real to me every day.
