GRACE

Here is another question God may ask you and to think about.

If the language of my grace is so powerfully rich how wealthy does it make you and how does it change how you see yourself and other people.

‘Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in the time of need” Heb 4:16

We often hear grace defined as undeserved favour but that doesn’t make sense because it said Jesus grew in grace and wisdom so how can he grow in underserved favour, he was Gods son, he always had favour.

In Eastern tradition grace is defined as the uncreated energies of the Holy Spirit. That is God’s grace -It is God experienced directly as the indwelling transforming presence of the Holy Spirit. I love that. Its God power from the Holy Spirit indwelling us to transform us to be all Jesus wants us to be. So, we are to approach Gods very throne with confidence or assurance and boldness and faith so that not only do we receive His mercy which is new every morning but also, we find His grace to overcome and be changed into His image. Wow is that a reality in our lives. Unfortunately, it seems most of us are trying to live this Christian life in our own strength, its like we are still living in Egypt still under bondage and slavery to self and old sinful habits, never really living in the Kingdom reality. We have a poverty mentality which means we live with meagre possibilities The question is why. One would be our unbelief and living under the lie we can’t really change and become like Jesus in this life. We don’t think God is really good as he said he is and so we settle down into a survival mode. So, grace is His empowering presence of His precious Holy Spirit to change us to transform us empower to overcome in every area of our lives. After all he came to redeem every part of our lives and full us with himself. So why not come with confidence to His very throne of grace and cry out for the power of the Holy Spirit to come into your life. His grace. He’s waiting
