HIS PRESNCE

Lift me up and I will be safe. Empower me to live every moment in the light of your ways

Psalm 119:117 Passion Translation.

I love his verse and have been meditating on it for a few days. To me it’s about cultivating the art of the awareness of His presence. He lives in us so he’s always present even on our very worst days. Many times we can lose that awareness.

Each day we need to remind ourselves of the 3 in one. The Father and Son and the Holy Spirit live within us. Start by fixing our eyes above because we are seated in heavenly places in Christ. Empower us every day. Ask Him to full you afresh every day. We can’t even begin to live this Christian life without His empowering presence. It’s so we can learn to live every moment in the awareness of His indwelling presence so we can walk in the light of His ways. In other words to walk and act and respond just like Him. After all we are been made into His image. To walk in His shalom, peace, to walk in the fruit of the HS. His joy patience and so on. To respond in every situation as He would. None of us have arrived. Far from it. Our life on earth is part of the process of being made into His likeness. It starts with beginning to be aware He lives in us to empower us every day and moment.
