PRAISE

Psalm 22:26 Bring Yahweh praise and you will find Him. Your hearts will overflow with outrageous joy” Passion translation.

Praise is the key to the gateway to Gods presence. As believer’s we need to develop a lifestyle of praise not just on a Sun morning service. That is not enough to sustain our Christian life and development in our walk with Jesus. We need to learn to steal moments during the day or seize moments during our busy lives even in driving in the car alone and to begin to deliberately focus on just praising Him with everything that’s in with you. To cut loose if you like and to even begin to shout and proclaim praises to Him. Praise Him until you start to feel joy rising within you. It is a sacrifice. It says in the psalms somewhere ‘bring a sacrifice of praise to Him’. Most of the times it’s just an act of the will. What you are doing is you are creating atmosphere where Gods presence can dwell and come. It says he inhabits the praises of His people. He likes to hang around people who have learnt the secret of praise. When’s the last time your heart has overflowed with outrageous joy. If it’s been a while maybe God is waiting to hear your praises from your mouth. As the late Kenneth Hagin used to say ‘you can praise yourself into being happy.
