X MARKS THE SPOT

“But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show this all- surpassing power is from God and not from us” 2 Corinth 4:7

What is this hidden treasure that is in us? By using this word Paul is telling us that as believer’s we are possessors of riches beyond belief. It’s not something we have to try and possess, we already have it. X is the very spot where the treasure is buried and that X is us. This treasure is contain in our weak earthen vessels our body. We don’t have to go searching for the hidden treasure we already have it. It describes and presents the idea of a specifically built room designed to be the repository for massive riches and wealth. Wow that’s you and I.

What is it or better still who is it. It’s the gift of the Holy Spirit the 3rd person of the God head. God has put His Spirit inside of us. It’s the same power that raised Jesus from the dead living in our frail weak bodies a treasury of His power, wisdom, gifts, fruit, and His character. Resident in me is enough power and answers to change both my environment and the environment of anyone to whom God uses to speak words of life. The question is do you know it and do you believe it. Are you daily aware of the wonderful Presence of God that is always resident in you? He is the resident genius living in us looking to get out.
