UNBELIEF

“Take for an example the sons of Ephraim; though they were well equipped warriors carrying their weapons, yet when the battle began they retreated and ran away in fear. They didn’t really believe the promises of God. They simply refused to trust Him and move forward in faith psalm 78:9-10 passion translation

One of the reasons for the OT is that it’s full of examples of how we should live and things we need to avoid.

Here we see 3 heart responses that God is not happy from the tribe of Ephraim when they were about to enter the promise land. 1/ They didn’t believe the promises of God. 2/ they simply refused to trust Him.3/ and they didn’t move forward in faith. We are moving into a season where these 3 things are going to be the demarcation for the church. God has been speaking for a while that we are entering into a season of war. There are some things that the Govt have said they are going to pass this election cycle that are going to put pressure on the church. Let’s arise to the occasion and be counted worthy to be called Jesus disciples. Bill Johnson always says, ‘don’t fear man and fear unbelief. Let’s arise to the occasion and not shrink back. Choose this day whom you will serve. We have been born for such a time as this.
