LOVE ONE ANOTHER

“ So in everything do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the law and the prophets”

Matthew 7:12

These are the powerful words of Jesus. Just imagine what it would look like if we actually learned to live this way towards others. It would be revolutionary to all our relationships. Ask the question how do you want other people to treat you. With kindness, gentleness. Respect, with dignity, with generosity and encouragement, and we could go on and on and on. Then take those things and treat people exactly same way. This all boils down to the practical aspects of what the real love of Christ looks like in our daily walk with others.

The whole law is summed up with Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and soul and love your neighbour as yourself. The Christian walk is never about rules and regulations and a list of do’s and don’ts. Let’s take Jesus words to heart and remember the Holy Spirit lives within us to empower us to live this way. Many times it’s about the art of awareness, of His presence in us moment by moment.
