REIGNING IN LIFE

“…How much more will those who receive Gods abundant provision of grace and the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.” Roman 5:17.

What an amazing verse. We as believers are meant to be reigning in in this life. In other words we are meant to reigning over sin not living in defeat, reigning over all the circumstances we all face and it’s all freely given. We just have to learn to receive 2 things. Firstly God’s abundant provision of grace. His empowering presence in us through Jesus Christ and secondly to receive His free gift of righteousness which means God puts us in right standing with himself. When he looks at us he sees us as perfect in His eyes, because we are clothed with His robe of righteousness. All he sees is Jesus. They are totally free and we receive them by faith. We can’t earn them, buy them we receive them by faith by simply believing and trusting in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. We have to learn to come boldly to His throne of grace to find grace and mercy for every situation we face. We have to learn to run to Jesus. There is no other way. So whatever you are facing right now stop for a minute and run to Jesus. He’s waiting for you and will never fail you or deny you no matter how far you think you have fallen or feel over whelmed.
