UNMOVABLE A QUALITY FOR SUCCESS

“Therefore my dear brothers stand firm, let nothing move you. Always give yourself fully to the work of the lord. Because you know that your labour in the lord is not in vain” 1Corith 15:58

This is from Rick Renners ‘gems in the Greek.’ In which he titled “The necessary attitude for success. Let nothing move you or be unmoveable. It’s an attitude we need to be a success in the Christian walk and life and as we enter 2022. According to Rick Renner it has several different inter connected meanings in the Greek

It means to not be easily excited, shaken or affected by what’s going on in the world. Pretty appropriate with Covid and all the unpredictability its bringing.

It describes something that is not changeable, or unpredictable. It’s also used in connection with stone structures or refers to people who are known to have strong unbending character.

In other words this is describing someone who is not flighty, fickle, here today gone tomorrow, on again off again but someone who is constant, stable and dependable rock solid fixed, grounded, rooted, stable, anchored. Satan is always trying to side track people, to get them off their God given intended course and goal. There’s a good word right there for 2022. There is no room for a ‘who cares attitude.’ People need to see what true biblical commitment looks like.
