warfare

When we go through a season of testing and face God's fire, one of the real keys is to maintain the right posture before God.

The promises God has given you are your biggest reality and therefore need your focus because they represent the kingdom coming into your circumstance. Learn to love showing your promises to your circumstance and saying to them ‘You are better shape up. I’m using these promises because it's more real than you. Here is the bottom line. You have a choice. You are either going to use your circumstances to challenge the promise which sadly is often our default setting or you are going to use your promise to challenge the circumstance. That’s spiritual warfare. Don't go to whining and complaining to God. Spend some time to write down the promises God has given you. If you don’t have any then ask Him. He’s more than willing to give you promises for your situation. I did it last week and God gave me several promises from scripture. Then when you pray or spend time with the Lord just quote and declare those promises back to God not just once but every day with conviction and boldness and keep doing and doing and doing it and see things change. Declarations are powerful and you are exercising faith and your authority given in Christ. Don’t complain moan or groan That’s just unbelief and it becomes a sin. Unbelief is your enemy, not your friend. We all have to learn how to engage in spiritual warfare. It starts with His promises in His word. So go for it, especially in this season where lots of things are happening. It is called growing up in the faith. He doesn't want us to remain babies in this season otherwise we will get run over by the enemy. He trains our hands for war.
