Over the years my observation is that the vast majority of people who leave the church and stop fellowshipping is because they got offended over something that somebody said to them. Nothing puts out the fire of God in our hearts quicker than getting offended. I would suggest that our emotional reaction to being offended means we have some unhealed areas in our life. We are operating from our soul area instead of our spirit man. We are no longer walking in love or been controlled by Christ within us. Ouch.
