DECEPTION IN LAST DAYS

In Matthew 24:4 “Jesus said take heed no one deceive you”

Jesus is answering the question from the disciples about what will be the signs of His coming back. The first thing he mention and warned us about was worldwide deception. The word deceive is translated from the Greek word that means to wander off course. It has the idea of going cross –grain against all that was once a part of his core belief. In other words he is telling us there will be a mass divergence from time tested biblical standards. Jesus is warning and declaring to us that this mass divergence from truth and worldwide moral wandering would be the first and foremost and primary sign to alert us that the end was near. Those who live at the very end of this age will see moral confusion in society as deception attempts to engulf our society with misinformation about what is morally right and wrong. We are literally seeing this playing out in our western society especially today. Biblical values and Gods absolute moral truth on sexuality are being thrown out and rejected even within some churches and believers. We are living in a society in which Isaiah prophesied about Isaiah 50:20 “woe to those who call evil good and good evil and substitute darkness for light and light for darkness”

To stand up for Gods absolute moral truth and standards means being now labelled intolerant, hateful bigoted, being called evil. Make up your mind about Gods word. It’s either true or not true. No sitting on the fence.
