LET IN RAIN

I woke up this morning with the words of an old vineyard song in my heart.

‘Let it rain, let it rain, open the flood gates of heaven and let it rain, let it rain’

Maybe it was because of Sophie’s word on sun about a rain clouding forming with Elijah praying 7 times and the seventh time his servant reported ‘A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea, found in 1 kings 18.

In Acts 3: 19 when Peter was preaching and said to the crowd “Repent then and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out that times of refreshing may come from the lord”

This was a scripture John Wimber used to use with the outpouring that happened Vineyard in the very beginning. Do it again Lord.

God is always looking to send seasons of refreshing rain upon His church to revive it revilitise his people and to bring advancement of His Kingdom and his purposes. Let’s seek God for a fresh outpouring of His Holy Spirit which he surely wants to bring to our nation and particularly for the next generation. I like what David cries out in Psalm 71:19 from the passion translation “Give me the grace to demonstrate to the next generation all your mighty miracles and your excitement to show them your magnificent power”

May this be the cry of our hearts? Then he goes on and says “I know you will revive us again” Send your fresh rain again and revive us again for the sake of our children and our children’s children. There is no better legacy for us to leave them. An encounter with God.
