OUR HELPER

“In the same way the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans that cannot be expressed” Romans 8:26

I love this verse because the precious person of the Holy Spirits lives in us and when we are backed into a corner and don’t know what to pray or do he is there available to help us.

According to Rick Renner in his book sparkling gems in the Creek the word intercession is a picture of one who comes upon someone who has fallen into some kind of quandary. Upon discovering the trapped person’s dilemma he swiftly swings into action to rescue and deliver the one in trouble. It conveys the idea of a rescue operation. This where our prayer language comes in. Speaking in tongues is our secret supernatural prayer language when we just don’t know what to pray or how to pray in a situation. The Holy Spirit feels everything you feel. He understands every situation and battle you are facing. He is willingly joins you in your circumstance’s sharing your emotions and frustrations. Then he begins to put a supernatural plan of rescue into operation to get you through. So next time you are in trouble there’s no need to sweat it out by yourself. The Holy Spirit is standing by just waiting for you to ask for assistance. Start praying in tongues. As you do you it will liberate Him to release His mighty power in you.
