our wisdom

“It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus. Who has become for us wisdom from God that is our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore as it is written Le the one who boasts boast in the Lord” 1 Corinth 1:30-31

This passage is an amazing statement about how God the Father sees us in Christ. The message of salvation is so complete its staggering. The Father restored us back to Himself in Jesus Christ. Jesus has become our wisdom, our righteousness, we have been clothed with His very robe of righteousness. He does not see our unrighteousness but Jesus’ righteousness. Jesus is our holiness and our very redemption. We have been redeemed from the pit and the power of the enemy and death by Jesus very blood. We can come into the fathers very presence at any time with a confidence and boldness knowing that he receives us. I love that verse in Colossians that says we have died and our lives are now in hidden in Christ with God. A verse from the passion translation in Psalms says he has smuggled us into the secret place and hides us in His holiness over all the power of the enemy. Sometimes we perish because of lack of knowledge of what Christ has really done for us. If we have revelation of these truths not just a head knowledge it would transform our lives and how we walk and live. No wonder Paul prays that God would Open the eyes of our heart (spiritual eyes) that we may know Him not just about Him but know Him experientially and see clearly what He has actually done for us. It is indeed staggering. His love is staggering.
