I love this. The starting point for acquiring wisdom is to be consumed with awe of who God is as you worship. If there is one thing that is lacking in much of the western church anyway is the lack of the awe of God and the fear of God. Worship is never meant to be reduced to singing some songs as a warm up for the main event. Worship is the main event. Worship is meant to lead us into an encounter with Him which will over whelm us and we see a deeper revelation of who he is. The psalms says he inhabits the praises of His people. As we come in abandonment in worship he comes longing to manifest himself in a real tangible way and engage our hearts. Do we come with that expectancy and anticipation every time we gather? Let’s come with a renewed attitude and expectancy every time we gather.
